What's included in the wood package?
Every HAS kit includes: tongue-and-groove boards for four walls and the ceiling, a vapor barrier roll, two-tier floating bench system, backrest, duckboard floor panels, heater guard, all interior trim and molding, and stainless steel assembly hardware. Everything is sized for your chosen room dimensions.
What do I need to provide myself?
The kit covers all interior finish lumber only. You'll also need: framing lumber (2×4 or 2×6 studs), insulation, a sauna door and frame, a sauna heater, electrical wiring (by a licensed electrician), and any exterior materials. Browse our sauna heaters collection to pair a heater with your kit.
How does sizing work — 5×6 vs 6×5?
The first number is the depth (how far back the room goes from the door), and the second is the width. A 5×6 and a 6×5 have the same floor area (30 sq ft) but different proportions — a 5×6 is wider and shallower, a 6×5 is narrower and deeper. Choose based on your available space and how you want to orient the benches.
Do the boards come pre-cut?
Boards ship longer than the kit's interior dimensions and must be cut to final length on site. This lets you adjust for any framing variations in your space and achieve a perfect fit. A standard circular saw or miter saw is all you need.
How does shipping work?
All HAS kits ship via LTL freight on a wooden pallet — curbside delivery. A Hotass Saunas representative will contact you before shipment to confirm details, and the freight carrier will schedule a delivery window that works for you. Estimated transit: 7–14 business days after order processing.
