What Delivery Looks Like
Curbside Liftgate Delivery
A freight truck arrives with your sauna or plunge on a pallet. The driver uses a hydraulic liftgate to lower it to the curb or end of your driveway — exactly as shown here.
The driver will not carry it inside, up stairs, or across your property. Please arrange help to move and place it after the truck leaves.
Inspect all packaging before signing the delivery receipt. If anything looks damaged, write it on the receipt before you sign. Do not refuse the delivery — contact us within 48 hours with photos of any damage.

Full Shipping Policy
Where we ship
We ship to the contiguous United States (Lower 48 states) only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or internationally at this time.
Shipping cost
Free shipping on every order within the contiguous U.S. — with one exception:
- SaunaLife products are excluded from free shipping. A flat freight charge applies to each SaunaLife sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub ($695–$1,990 depending on the model). This charge is calculated per product and shown at checkout before you pay.
- All other brands (ThermaSol, Finnmark, Dundalk, heaters, etc.) ship completely free.
What curbside delivery means
All deliveries are curbside only. The freight driver uses a liftgate to lower your unit to street level at the curb or the end of your driveway. That is where their responsibility ends.
The driver will not:
- Carry it inside your home or garage
- Bring it across your yard or up steps
- Move it to a final installation spot
Please arrange help in advance to move and position your item after the truck leaves.
SaunaLife ships as a DIY assembly kit
All SaunaLife products ship as do-it-yourself (DIY) assembly kits — your sauna, cold plunge, or hot tub arrives in components for on-site assembly. Everything you need is included. Most other brands arrive partially or fully assembled and require minimal setup.
Processing & transit times
Processing: In-stock items typically ship within 5 business days of your order being reviewed. You'll receive a tracking number by email once the item leaves the warehouse. Made-to-order or custom models may require additional lead time.
Transit: After pickup, freight typically takes 5–14 business days to arrive depending on your location. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment before your unit arrives.
Damaged in transit — what to do
Freight damage happens occasionally. Here's what to do:
- Inspect before you sign. Check all packages and the unit itself before signing the delivery receipt — even if boxes look intact on the outside.
- Note damage on the receipt. Write any damage directly on the delivery receipt before signing. This is your legal record.
- Do not refuse the delivery. Refusing causes major delays. Accept it, sign with exceptions noted, and contact us.
- Contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage. Email info@saunacompanyusa.com and we'll manage the freight claim with the carrier on your behalf.
