Shipping & Delivery
- This SaunaLife item is not eligible for free shipping. A flat-rate freight charge of $950 applies within the contiguous U.S. (Lower 48) and is shown at checkout. (All other brands ship free.)
- Ships within ~5 business days if in stock — you'll receive a tracking number by email within 24 hours of dispatch.
- Arrives on a pallet via LTL freight, curbside delivery only. The driver lowers it to the ground at the curb and calls ahead to schedule; from there you move the panels to your build site (most pieces are manageable with two people).
- Ships as a DIY assembly kit for on-site self-assembly. No delivery outside the Lower 48.
Warranty Coverage

Returns & Refunds
Returns accepted within 30 days of purchase on new, unused items with original tags and packaging. Email us for an RMA number before returning — you pay return shipping. A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns. Sale items and custom or built-to-order items are final sale. Installation & Assembly
Freight deliveries are curbside only — the driver will not unpack or carry items indoors. You are responsible for moving the product from curbside and for any assembly. Please arrange help or local movers for delivery day if needed.
White Glove or inside delivery (and, where available, assembly) can be arranged before shipment for an additional charge. Ensure the freight truck can access your location and that the path to the install site is clear.

We received our Finnmark FD-1 ahead of schedule, expertly packed on the freight pallet, and assembly took less than an hour even working alone. The curbside LTL drop-off was smooth once I cleared a path to the garage. It heats up fast, the full-spectrum infrared panels feel deep and even, and the cedar smells incredible warming up. My wife and I have used it three times a week since delivery. Customer service was fantastic the whole way through. Highly recommend.
Easy to put together by myself and it works great. The DIY panels click together logically and I had it running the same afternoon.
After comparing a few brands we picked the FD-1 for the full-spectrum emitters and I'm glad we did. The near, mid, and far infrared together give a much more thorough sweat than my gym's old far-only unit. Heat-up is around 12 minutes, the bench is comfortable, and the glass front door keeps it from feeling claustrophobic. Build quality on the wood is excellent. Two-person fit is cozy but works for us.
Everything was easy: the initial interaction, the order, the freight shipping, and the assembly. It is a very attractive little unit and works great. The control panel is intuitive and the chromotherapy lighting is a nice touch in the evening.
I bought the FD-1 mainly for muscle recovery during marathon training and it has earned its spot. Twenty minutes after a hard long run and the soreness the next day is noticeably less. The infrared warms my body rather than baking the air, so I can stay in longer than a traditional sauna. Assembly was straightforward with my husband holding panels while I drove the screws. Quiet, well insulated, and the cedar is gorgeous.
The sauna itself is excellent and I use it most winter mornings before work. Knock off a star only because the LTL freight company left the crates at the end of my driveway and I had to recruit a neighbor to move them. The product was perfectly protected though, and once inside, assembly was easy. Heats quickly and holds temperature well even in a cold garage.
This has become our family's evening ritual. The kids think the colored lights are fun and my husband and I love the quiet heat after a stressful day. The wood paneling looks high end and smelled wonderful the first few weeks. Heat-up time is fast enough that we don't have to plan ahead. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out in our spare bedroom.
Assembled solo in about an hour. The cedar panels are thick and the carbon emitters cover a wide area so the heat feels even on your back. Works great.
