This is a beautifully designed heater - the open stone basket holds a ton of rocks and the loyly it produces is incredible. The 9kW unit heats our six-person sauna fast and evenly. The minimalist Estonian design looks fantastic in the corner. Pair it with a HUUM controller and it's perfection. Highly recommend.
We chose the CLIFF 9 for both looks and performance and it delivers on both. It holds an impressive amount of stone, so the steam from a ladle of water is soft and enveloping. Heats our sauna quickly. Have an electrician do the hookup - it needs proper wiring - but once in, it's flawless.
Performance and design are top tier. The big stone capacity makes for a wonderful loyly and it heats fast. Just know that a 9kW heater needs a dedicated circuit and a licensed electrician, which added to the cost. Worth it for the quality. Four stars only for the install requirement.
The amount of rock this holds is the secret - the steam is gentle and lasts. It brings our sauna up to temperature quickly and looks gorgeous doing it. HUUM's build quality is obvious. Couldn't be happier.
