Installation Overview
Pump / valve installation — shut off water supply before starting. Check for drips after every connection.
- Close the water supply valve and drain any residual pressure from the line.
- Disconnect the power/signal wire to the pump or solenoid and cap it safely.
- Unthread the old component using the appropriate wrench; have a towel ready for residual water.
- Apply thread-seal tape to all threaded connections on the new component.
- Thread in the new component hand-tight, then 1–1.5 additional turns with a wrench.
- Reconnect wiring per the wiring diagram; restore water supply slowly.
- Check all joints for leaks; restore power and test operation.
