This model ships as a precision-milled kit with interlocking staves that assemble in approximately 4–8 hours with two people and basic tools. No special skills required — illustrated instructions are included.

Yes. SaunaLife barrel saunas are built for all-weather outdoor use. The rounded barrel shape naturally sheds rain and snow, and the kiln-dried Spruce or Thermo-Spruce wood resists warping and cracking in all climates.

Warranty Coverage

Returns & Refunds
Returns accepted within 30 days of purchase on new, unused items with original tags and packaging. Email us for an RMA number before returning — you pay return shipping. A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns. Sale items and custom or built-to-order items are final sale. Installation & Assembly
Freight deliveries are curbside only — the driver will not unpack or carry items indoors. You are responsible for moving the product from curbside and for any assembly. Please arrange help or local movers for delivery day if needed.
White Glove or inside delivery (and, where available, assembly) can be arranged before shipment for an additional charge. Ensure the freight truck can access your location and that the path to the install site is clear.

The E8W barrel sauna is everything I wanted. The thick Nordic spruce staves and the panoramic glass back wall make it feel both traditional and modern. It shipped as a DIY kit on a freight pallet and two of us assembled it in a long afternoon. The barrel shape heats up fast, around 30 minutes, and the curved benches are surprisingly comfortable. Looks fantastic next to our pond.
We fit four comfortably for our weekly family sauna and the barrel design heats evenly with no cold corners. The glass rear window looking out at the trees is a lovely touch. Assembly was a straightforward DIY weekend project. The spruce smells wonderful and the wood quality is excellent. The heater that came with it gets us hot quickly.
The round barrel interior means there's less air to heat so it reaches temperature noticeably faster than the box sauna I had before. I'm at full heat in under half an hour. The build is solid, the staves are thick, and the door seals well. DIY kit assembly took my son and me a weekend. Freight delivery was curbside so have help ready to move the crates.
Love the E8W now that it's together. The barrel looks beautiful and performs great in our cold winters. Only note is the DIY assembly took us longer than the estimate, mostly fitting the staves around the bands, but it was satisfying once done. Spruce is high quality and the glass window is a nice feature. Holds heat well.
I added the E8W to my backyard for recovery after CrossFit and it's been a game changer through the winter. The barrel heats fast and stays hot, and the cedar-scented spruce makes every session feel like a spa. Two of us put it together over a weekend without issues. The freight company dropped the pallet curbside on schedule. Very happy.
The barrel sauna is the centerpiece of our yard now. Heats quickly, holds temperature, and the glass window is gorgeous. Assembly was a doable DIY job.
Every panel and stave was numbered and well protected on the pallet. The DIY build was a fun weekend with a friend. The E8W's spruce is thick and the benches are comfy. Heater brings it to 175 in about 30 minutes. We use it three times a week and it has held up perfectly so far.
